I have serviced my 2006 benz E-350 for rear breaks drum , pad and sensor replacement and was thoroughly satisfied with the quality job done by George and the team. Also George gave me a very reasonable quote for the service. One thing that I have seen across the board in San Diego is you start out with a mechanic and they are initially very reasonable with price and then as you become a regular they start squeezing you on prices as you have stopped shopping around. My older mechanic was quoting me $350 more for the same job . I really hope George and company stay reasonable as I am planning on continuing with them in the future

I had a great experience at European Auto Care. I went in for an oil change, and everything was quick and easy. John was awesome, he kept me updated throughout the whole process and communicated everything clearly, which I really appreciated. As a woman, it can sometimes be intimidating going to an auto shop, but I felt completely comfortable and never felt pressured into anything unnecessary. Everyone was honest, professional, and respectful. I’ll definitely be coming back for future services and highly recommend them!

WARNING – DO NOT TRUST European Autocare (Rancho Bernardo) This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an auto shop. I purchased a 2008 BMW 750i from Will Alfaro for $6,500. The car was running properly with no oil leaks. Within about a week, I returned for a simple oil change they had promised. Immediately after that oil change, the car began leaking oil — something it had NEVER done before. From that point forward, everything deteriorated over the next 2+ months under their care: Work performed by mechanic George Tadros They kept my car for extended periods Put 200+ miles on it Charged me $1,691.44 for repairs that did NOT fix the issue Returned the vehicle multiple times in worse condition The car then developed: Severe engine issues and smoke Rough running condition Transmission malfunction warnings At one point, Will was driving the car back to me claiming it was “fixed,” and it broke down on him before he could even deliver it. The vehicle began smoking heavily and running poorly. He then took it to BMW of Escondido, where technicians diagnosed: Serious internal engine damage Burned valve stem seals Improper prior work (including incorrectly installed components)

I was in a real bind when my coolant warning light came on while driving on the highway. I immediately pulled off and luckily found European Auto Care. From the moment I walked in, the experience was top-notch. John immediately took a look at my car, diagnosed the issue, and topped up the coolant. He even went above and beyond by replacing the battery in my key fob. The full repair for the cooling system was covered under warranty at another service station, otherwise, I would have left my car with them without a second thought. John made sure the car was safe for me to continue my drive back to San Diego, and when I tried to pay, he wouldn't take a dime. It's rare to find a shop that operates with such a high level of trust, honesty, and integrity. John and the team at European Auto Care truly care about helping people, not just making a quick buck. They have earned my trust, and I will absolutely be back for any future service needs. Highly, highly recommended!

Best mechanic is Rancho Bernardo. George and his team will be the only shop I recommend moving forward. Fast response times and quality service. I brought my 2005 C230K Mercedes to George on 5/20/25. Mercedes wanted to charge me $3,073.85 for a new AC compressor and $1,700.00 for a transmission parking pilot bushing leak. George was able to complete both jobs within a day after receiving the parts and for a fraction of the price. For both parts and labor I paid $2,769.79. Thank you everyone at European Auto Care!
